The IndoorAtlas Mapping API provides a convenient access to your venues, floor plans, mapping paths and analytics. It allows setting up a venue, the floor plans, and floor plan images programmatically -- thus, very efficiently. 

You can even deploy IndoorAtlas positioning using the no-fingerprinting approach through the Mapping API, that is, upload the beacon / WiFi AP  IDs and locations, and specify a walkable area mask. 

Many of the Mapping API endpoints work with GeoJSON data.

• To use the API, you need a Mapping API key, which can be created in the My Credentials view (previously My apps) in the IndoorAtlas web tool.
